Our Story
Suzie Young ♥ AuthorIt all began with a dream by a grandmother who shared it with her granddaughters, Emma and Lila.
“I had a dream that I should write a book about a little girl named Hannah McNoodle, do you want to help?” They said yes!
But Team Hannah needed an illustrator and the search was on for an artist who would capture their playful vision. The universe responded and the perfect artist lived only two miles from the author. Serendipity.
So author and Illustrator met at their local library and felt the connection. Illustrator took home a copy of the story and went to work in her studio creating sketches.
Hannah was coming to life! All the while granddaughters were developing story lines, hairstyles and outfits for Hannah. They knew the world would want to meet Hannah and listen to her message of determination, hope and happiness.
And yes, there are four signatures on the contract - author, illustrator and granddaughters!
